Our mission
Our mission is to provide the best care possible to our patients,
to alleviate pain and suffering, to offer the highest level
of preventative health care available, the best and most progressive
medicine and surgery to our patients, exceptional services
to the owners of our patients, to educate owners so they can
make the best and most informed decisions for their pets,
and to promote the human/animal bond.
The Doctors
Dr. Mike Sheffield received his DVM degree from Texas A & M University in 1985. He did his undergraduate work at Texas A & I (now Texas A & M, Kingsville). Dr. Sheffield began his professional career in the Rio Grande Valley. He then moved to the Dallas area and spent two years there before moving to Wimberley in 1989. He opened Wimberley Veterinary Clinic in it’s present location in 1990. Dr. Sheffield is married and has a son. He has three horses, one dog and four cats.

Our Staff
Beth Nolan has been the receptionist and front office
manager since 2002. Beth is committed to providing our patients
and their owners with the best possible service.
Marc Haney is our head technician. He is originally from Hereford, Texas. He joined our staff in 2004.
Bryan Fowler grew up in Dripping Springs. He has an extensive background in animal emergency care. He joined Wimberley Veterinary Clinic in 2007.
Chris Lewis came from the human side of medicine working in the field of imaging. He became a member of the staff in 2008.
